TJR Group, LLC is a software and consulting company specializing in estimating and planning for business application software projects.
Founded in 2003, our main objective is to enable customers to better plan and evaluate the impact of their information technology projects.
By doing so, they will have the ability to set and manage stakeholder expectations, while also properly allocating the necessary resources to accomplish the effort involved.

Our officers:

Tom Strandwitz
President

Tom designed the methodology and framework for Tetra Planner® and is responsible for the consulting services provided by TJR Group®. He has over 12 years of experience in SAP, having been both a consultant and part of an IT support organization. His first 7 years were spent at PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Management Consultant, where he participated in or managed SAP implementations at several Fortune 1000 companies. The past 5+ years, in addition to consulting with TJR Group®, he has been a member and now director in the IT department for a company in Austin, TX.

Mr. Strandwitz holds a B.S.E. in Civil Engineering from Princeton University and an M.S.E. in Civil Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.

Michael Maxwell
Vice President

Mr. Maxwell is primarily responsible for the software, technology, and toolsets utilized by TJR Group. He has 10 years experience with information technology, including roles as business analyst, architect, quality assurance, developer, and software configuration manager. Beginning his full-time career as a Management Consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers, he has worked with organizations large and small, and he has gained experience in a number of areas in the software development life cycle - from requirements determination, to web development, to project management.

Mr. Maxwell holds a B.B.A in Information Systems, Analysis, and Design from the University of Wisconsin at Madison, and currently resides in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
